Venn Diagram – compare short stories which illustrate risks which had benefits and consequences. Read both stories and create a Venn Diagram – How are the stories/characters the same? How are they different?

Essay
Using a Venn diagram and the Compare and Contrast Essay planning chart, have students write a compare and contrast essay on the two short stories. Review essay rubric before you begin writing. Rubric for Compare and Contrast Essay
